HEIC la dinh dang hinh anh hien dai dua tren codec video HEVC (H.265), duoc su dung lam dinh dang anh chup mac dinh tren cac thiet bi Apple. No cung cap kha nang nen tot hon khoang 50% so voi JPEG trong khi ho tro cac tinh nang nhu ban do do sau va Live Photos.
